My Life is Now Complete
What was originally planned as a trip to Target for rice crispy treats and linens turned out to be more...so much more. As I was nonchalantly strolling past the racks of clothes not considering any specifics, there it was. I came across something so glorious I could not believe my eyes. Drum roll please...There is was- A LEOPARD PRINT SNUGGIE! I stood in awe marveling my soon-to-be-all-that-is-holy possession. Freeing my sensationally perfect body suit from the hanger, I dashed to the dressing room. Not that I doubted our future together, but I couldn't wait to be inside of the fabulous onezie. I zip up my leopard print snuggie and we become one.
My snuggie and I become fast friends. Someone to wallow in my wallowing with, and roll around in crumbs with tangled hair. Fuck it. I'm in love. My inner cat-like goddess has come alive.

Typography Poster
This fall I am taking Media Design and I absolutely love it. Our first assignment was to do a typography poster using InDesign. I chose the the lyrics to Portobello Belle by Dire Straits; probably my all time favorite song if I had to choose. I used type on a path to weave the lyrics through her hair.
It reads, "She thinks she's tough, she ain't no English rose,
but the blind singer, he's seen enough and he knows,
he do a song about a long gone Irish girl,
but I got one for you my Portobello Belle"

100% Funk & Magic
First of all I have to convey my new found love for beanies. They're so perfect for the days when you don't feel like doing your hair, you can wear them in all seasons and they add a little spunk to an outfit. I bought four different colors of beanies all together for $15 on Ebay.
This denim vest is one of my first DIY projects - It's my baby and I am so proud of it. I found an old denim jacket in the back of my closet that I've had since probably the sixth grade, and cut the sleeves off. I ordered the studs in Cones Tall English77 in silver from www.StudsandSpike.com.
I plan to be studding many garments in the near future.
Seriously though...how badass is this wall mural? I don't care what anyone says, graffiti is art. I was so delighted to be photographed in front of this wall. It's eye-catching and bubbly; the perfect equivalent to this wardrobe.

There's Just Something About Football Season...
It was a
big weekend here in San Marcos, Texas for Texas State University. We
played our first home game in the
newly remodeled Bobcat Stadium where the Texas
State Bobcats went head-to-head with the Texas Tech Red Raiders; Raiders with the win of
58-10.

For my game attire I debuted my newly renovated vest - which I will give more detail on in a later post - with this dress my sister bought for me. Our school colors are maroon and gold, so I threw on my maroon Toms to add a little more school spirit. This outfit is super comfortable and breezy for the hot tailgating weather.
